Chateau Venetia
This mansion was build in 1765 on the grounds of a former monastery.
The initiative for the building was taken by a count, a man of whom believed he might have an important function in the inland waterways.
In 1938, the side wing has been parceled out and divided into different buildings.
A group of Frenchmen bought the mansion a few years ago, planning to make some sort of art museum with underground parking out of it, but after complaints from people living in the area, the province declined their construction permission. The owners are concidering to sell the property again. The mansion still is abandoned and decayed these days.
